ROAD TRIP

Clay and I made the 8 hour road trip down to Minneapolis this weekend to see our fave band, Kings of Leon. We went to their show last year at a tiny theater venue so it was really exciting to see them in an arena this time (front row!!) and follow the boys as they evolved over the year by winning the hearts of all the Canadians and Americans who have been in the dark about their music for so long! Did a little shopping and hung out downtown all day!
Wore this outfit to the show tonight; the concert was AMAZING BEYOND WORDS and I'm now more in love with KOL than everrrrr!! White Lies opened and you should deff check them out if you haven't yet! All in all had a fabbbbbb weekend shopping, hanging out with my handsome boyfriend, and seeing my fave band of all time! Does it get any better than that?!

FALL DRESS

I bought this dress in July at an H&M in Amsterdam and haven't had a chance to wear it yet. Statement shoulders, layered chains, and patterned tights are key components to my fall wardrobe and with the weather getting drearier every day, I thought I'd transition into autumn in one of my new favorite dresses!

AMSTERDAM

I've been trapped inside all day doing homework, watching the last few days of summer pass by. Missing Europe terribly, can't wait to go back! Here's a few pics from my trip to Amsterdam this summer:

SWEET SUMMER

The weather has been ridiculous lately, sending me into a frenzy of wardrobe confusion. It's September but in place of our regular chilly weather and falling leaves, Winnipeg is finally getting its summer. The temperature has been anywhere between +25-30°C all week and I've been so unprepared! I've already switched to cardigan, leggings, boots, and layering mode - but I guess I should enjoy our short 'summer' while it lasts!

GAGA FOR BLONDE

So I decided to go platinum blonde...for the day. Got this wig at Value Village (packaged; I do a lot of thrifting but could not rock a pre-worn wig) for $10 and decided to take some GaGa-worthy pics with the new headpiece! What do you think, should I make it permanent? ;) jk, jk.

ANIMALISTIC

We got this headband in at work yesterday and the minute I laid eyes on it I knew it had to be mine. It reminds me of deer antlers/the Louis Vuitton Fall 09 bunny ears! Trés fab, non?! I'll do a proper post with this beauty in the near future but right now I'm off to work (headband in tow)! Leave me some love!
