School Post #4: Color on the Streets of NYC

Our next assignment was to scour the NYC streets for a common color. Below are some photos I snapped over the weekend of some friends;
the military influence was everywhere, with New Yorkers adopting army green parkas, jackets, and tanks in effortlessly cool ensembles.
Clay, Filmmaker & Artist; 28th Street & 8th Avenue
Clay is wearing an authentic uniform from the Canadian Armed Forces that he bought from an army surplus store in his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba. 
Jaclyn, FIT student & Blogger at Stepping in Stilettos; 27th Street & 7th Avenue
Jaclyn layered her military green Forever 21 tank under a leather moto jacket.
Vanessa; FIT student & Blogger at Of The Moment...; 28th Street & 10th Avenue
Vanessa paired her PINK by Victoria's Secret army green parka with cropped jeans and nude heels.

Here's my version of this color trend, a staple in my spring wardrobe (blogged here, here, and here), military green is here to stay! Thoughts?

    Yes I have thoughts! I'm not the person who goes with the trend but wasn't the military green already two season ago? Still I love military green and also have some pieces and I'm not from NYC ;)
