ROAD TRIP

Clay and I made the 8 hour road trip down to Minneapolis this weekend to see our fave band, Kings of Leon. We went to their show last year at a tiny theater venue so it was really exciting to see them in an arena this time (front row!!) and follow the boys as they evolved over the year by winning the hearts of all the Canadians and Americans who have been in the dark about their music for so long! Did a little shopping and hung out downtown all day!
Wore this outfit to the show tonight; the concert was AMAZING BEYOND WORDS and I'm now more in love with KOL than everrrrr!! White Lies opened and you should deff check them out if you haven't yet! All in all had a fabbbbbb weekend shopping, hanging out with my handsome boyfriend, and seeing my fave band of all time! Does it get any better than that?!

Wearing H&M turtle neck dress, H&M cropped faux fur vest, Urban Outfitters tights, Seduction boots, Forever 21 fish necklace and bangle.

    i saw them in hamilton last weekend and they were incredible.
    so much more love and respect for them now that i've seen them live.
    i'm so happy they came back to canada b/c they always sell out their shows before i can get my hands on tickets. i've missed out on two shows already. you're so lucky to have gotten to see them in a small venue. although the hamilton arena was not as big as most.

    FAB! You know I've been considering for a while whether I should by that vest or not... I love it! But, I think I'm gonna make one myself :) If I find the time and energy!

    But wow, KINGS OF LEON! One of my favourite bands!! I guess our tastes in music are really similar, Coldplay, Kings Of Leon... And another thing in common: we love going to the shows.
    Seeing a fav band is always the highlight of my year / month / season ... / life ;) (coldplaay <3)

    I saw someone on campus today wearing a furry vest and thought "WOAH, i need me one of them!!" You've made me confirm my desire. I want one NOW!

    ps- Love white lies, although I don't have any of their albums... KoL were prob great, I imagine them having good energy onstage. Isn't it wierd that ppl overseas have loved them for years, and only now finally ppl in their own country know they exist? They were on the hour talking about that... too funny
