EFFORTLESS BEAUTY

When going through some of the items at my yiayia and pappou's (grandparents) home, I stumbled across this amazing photograph. The photo is of my young yiayia (far right) with her sister and cousins. I was taken aback by the beauty of my now aging grandmother and was inspired by how impossibly chic these women were - even at the beach.

Beach hair to my yiayia wasn't tousled untouched waves, these women perfected their tresses before lounging on the sandy beaches of Greece. One of the most hard-working women I've ever been honored to know and even more privileged to share her genes, my yiayia exuded effortless glamour in everything she did.

SPLASH OF COLOR

I finally finished classes on Friday (YAY!!!!!) and decided to treat myself to this adorable Rachel Rachel Roy romper. I mean, I deserve it right!? I love the lightweight design and the beautiful print - the twisted straps are a cute detail!

I have an exam tomorrow and a final presentation on the 20th and then I am officially done, done, DONE! I can't wait! Expect more blogging after the 20th - this once a week posting will not suffice! P.S: For those of you who asked in my last post, my camera is a Pentax k200 dSLR and my high-waisted denim shorts are from Forever21. Happy Sunday!

STORMTROOPERS

Today was warm and beautiful - dark clouds, lightning, and sun showers. Clay and I grabbed our cameras and chased the storm. Hope you all had a great long weekend! I officially have nine days left of school (!!!!) so I will busybusy sewing, preparing presentations, and studying for final exams. Have a great week, lovelies!
